We are a full-service video production company capable of walking you through every phase of the production process.

Here is a breakdown of our typical workflow and areas of expertise.

Pre-Production

Some may call pre-production the “planning” phase, but we like to refer to it as the “project visualization” phase. Creating a video is an investment, and this is where we sit down and talk through what you want to accomplish and what we need to do to achieve those goals. We believe pre-production is crucial to laying the groundwork for a smooth production process and setting expectations. Depending on the project, we can guide you through:

  1. Concept Development: A big-picture discussion about your vision.

  2. Budgeting: We can accomplish a lot with a variety of budgets, but it’s important to know what resources are available to make sure we allocate them in the proper ways.

  3. Scheduling: What are your timeline needs?

  4. Casting: Who do you want to be the face/faces of the story?

  5. Location Scouting: What is the visual aesthetic of this project?

  6. Storyboarding/Shot Lists: What are the “must-have” shots.

  7. Crew: Who do we need on-location to best execute the production plan?

  8. Equipment: This is why budget is so important for us to understand. If you have a specific vision for how the video looks, or if it’s going to be displayed in a certain way, we need to make sure we have the right tools.

  9. Permits/Legal: You’d be surprised at some of the places that require permits!

Production

Action! We have a plan, now it’s time to execute. This is where all of our work in pre-production pays off. The main focus now is to capture all of the visual and audio elements needed for the final product. Our highly experienced team includes experts in:

  1. Directing

  2. Camera Operation

  3. Lighting and Sound

  4. Set Design

  5. On-Set Management

Production can be planned for a single day or multiple days depending on the project needs. And since re-shoots are expensive, communication is key! We pride ourselves on being flexible during shoots, so while it’s always great to stick to the plan as much as possible, spur-of-the-moment ideas are sometimes where the magic happens. We encourage our clients to speak their mind and be creative.

Post-Production

We’ve captured the raw elements, and now it’s time to make something amazing with it. The editing process can be a tedious one, but it’s the little details that make the finished product that much more impactful. Communication is critical during this phase, and we will send multiple cuts of the video to you for review during the process. Depending on the project, typical post-production phases include:

  1. Video Editing: Building the visual story that we captured during production.

  2. Motion Graphic Editing: Creating animated elements that may add to the aesthetic.

  3. Sound Editing: Anything from smoothing out some interview audio or creating custom sound effects, we’ve got you covered.

  4. Voiceover: If we have a script, we need a voice! We’ll work with you to find the perfect voiceover artist.

  5. Music Licensing: Music facilitates the mood of the video, so let’s pick the right track.

  6. Color Grading: Color can dictate some of the energy of the edit.

  7. Delivery: Whether your video is destined for broadcast, the web, or social media, we’ll ensure it’s in the optimal format.
